About Us

Decorated dining area ready for an event at Elks Lodge.
Decorated dining area ready for an event at Elks Lodge.

The Delano Elks Lodge on Cecil Ave has earned a 4.7-star reputation the old-fashioned way: by treating every visitor like a member of the family. One recent guest, on their 73rd lodge visit across the country, called it the nicest Elks lodge they had ever walked into. That kind of praise doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the chairs, the office team, and the members here actually show up for people.

Step inside and you'll find a clean, well-kept space with a full bar, a kitchen, and a reception area that seats roughly 150 to 160 guests across 15 to 16 tables. The room is a blank canvas, and members and renters alike have turned it into everything from formal banquets to festive quinceañeras. Bring your own decorations or work with an events planner, and the possibilities genuinely are endless.

Beyond the rentals, this is a BPOE lodge rooted in the fraternal values that have defined the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for generations: charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. The Delano chapter carries those values into the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley, serving the community one event, one meal, and one handshake at a time.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a versatile event hall that handles private parties, receptions, memorial services, fundraisers, and corporate gatherings with equal ease. Renters get access to the full kitchen, the reception area, and the bar, giving you the infrastructure to feed and celebrate a crowd without hauling in a catering truck.

Fraternal membership opens a separate world of benefits: regular lodge meetings, community service projects, scholarship programs, and the camaraderie of a national organization with deep local roots. Members enjoy access to lodge events, reciprocal visiting privileges at Elks lodges across the country, and a network of neighbors who take civic responsibility seriously.

For the Delano community, the lodge also serves as a reliable partner for charitable initiatives, from youth programs to veterans outreach. Whether you're renting the hall for a Saturday night party or joining the order to give back, you'll find the same thing either way: a clean space, a friendly bar, and people who are genuinely glad you walked through the door.

"It is nothing fancy but a banquet place that has space for probably 15 to 16 tables for 10. And the possibilities are endless if you have an events planner or if you bring your own decorations. It looked to me that there were at least 2 other smaller rooms that could hold more guests. I imagine it would be good for wedding receptions, quinceanera, debut, birthdays, etc. It had 1 restroom that was accessed through the big banquet area."

"Absolutely the nicest Elks lodge! My visit there marked my 73rd lodge to visit, and what a great experience. I met most of 'the chairs', as well as office management and some members. Treated me like royalty, and a near relative good family member royalty at that. It's a smaller lodge, but very much true to the tradition and spirit of Elkdom without cutting the corners I have seen in so many lodges. Stop by and have a chat - you won't regret it."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
